Adrian Gross


Originally from Montreal, guitarist, mandolinist and composer Adrian Gross Adrian relocated to Toronto to pursue an education in jazz performance and composition at Humber College. He has since decided to call Toronto home, quickly becoming a fixture on the acoustic music scene, co-leading The Roofhoppers (klezmer/gypsy jazz/folk) and The Slocan Ramblers (bluegrass), and performing regularly with The Rucksack Willies and Tim Posgate’s Sorry Cousins, among others. He has performed and recorded with many of the city’s leading acoustic musicians, including Andrew Downing, John Showman (The Creaking Tree String Quartet) and The Foggy Hogtown Boys, and has accompanied international touring acts, such as John McEuen (The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band).
