Anne Massicotte started her musical career as a clarinetist, graduating from the Conservatoire de Québec. She played with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada and toured for Jeunesses Musicales with her quintet. She taught music in elementary schools for many years, conducting award winning children’s choirs. She currently conducts the St James Town Children’s Choir.  A lifelong recorder player, Anne played with Ensemble Anonymus in Quebec City, and teaches recorder at CAMMAC’s music camp. She currently plays with ACTA, a recorder quartet based in Toronto.
