Dan is an incredibly active and sought out percussionist and collaborator within Toronto and the GTA. Notable organizations include the Toy Piano Composers, the Toronto Symphony, Soundstreams Canada, the Esprit Orchestra, and the Evergreen Club Contemporary Gamelan. He is however best known for being a member of the TorQ Percussion Quartet, an ensemble that has had featured performances and residencies across Canada, the United States and Europe, as well as being guest soloist with the Toronto Symphony and the Buffalo Philharmonic. Dan himself has been a soloist with the Toronto Wind Orchestra and featured on the Music Gallery’s Emergence series. He was a semi-finalist at the 2014 OSM competition where he was awarded the “Prix Demaine Forget”. Dan became an associate composer of the Canadian Music Centre in 2014, and can be heard both as a composer and performer on CBC, NAXOS, Centrediscs, TSO live, MTV and Bedoint Records.
