Graham Mackenzie

Oboe

Graham Mackenzie is principal oboist of the Windsor and Niagara Symphony Orchestras, and served in the same capacity with Orchestra London.  He has also appeared as principal oboist with the Kitchener-Waterloo, Winnipeg, and Brantford Symphony Orchestras, as well as the Hamilton Philharmonic.  As a concerto soloist, he has performed works by Bach, Marcello, Mozart, Strauss, and Vivaldi.  He is on faculty at Wilfrid Laurier University, and maintains a studio of private students.  He completed a Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University, studying with James Mason, and a Master of Music from DePaul University, studying with Eugene Izotov.
