Kaili Maimets

Flute

Flutist Kaili Maimets is in demand as an orchestral performer, chamber musician, and soloist. She was Principal Flute of the former Orchestra London Canada from 2012-2015. She has toured across Canada, South America, and China. Kaili has performed multiple times with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa, the National Ballet of Canada, and with the Toronto Concert Orchestra. Her chamber and orchestral performances have been broadcast nationally on CBC Radio. Her She is a founding member of The Topaz Duo with harpist Angela Schwarzkopf, Charm of Finches flute quintet, and The Forked River Quintet. While Principal Flute with Orchestra London, she was a featured soloist a number of times performing Bach's Brandenburg Concerto no.4, Mozart's D Major Concerto K314, and Frank Martin's Concerto for Seven Winds. This past summer she was featured soloist with Toronto Concert Orchestra's Symphony in the Gardens series.
