Au sommet de ses convulsions, l'homme est prêt à partir

This work is the result of a research about the idea of religious ritual in different cultures such as Afro-Cuban, Maya and Egyptian. I found extremely interesting events in my perception of death and ritual and I worked with all this amalgamation of ideas in this piece. Being able to work with the voice of the performers makes me push the limits of performance in each interpreter who will have several roles to play. I feel honoured to be able to create this piece with Continuum Contemporary Music and I would also like to thank the CLC and Cléo Palacio-Quintin  for their great support.
